CSIHS SkyScape trip 5/14/25
Updated: Apr 19
Our class trip to Spyscape in New York City was a enjoyable experience. Spyscape is an interactive museum focused on the world of espionage, intelligence, and secrets, where visitors take part in different activities designed to show what skills real spies use. The exhibits are built around things like code breaking, surveillance, and decision making, and the whole space is designed to make you feel like you are stepping into the world of intelligence operations.
When we arrived, we were able to move through different interactive stations that tested different abilities, like memory, observation, and problem solving. Each section had its own challenge, and it was interesting seeing how everyone approached them differently. Some activities focused on analyzing information quickly, while others tested how carefully you paid attention to details around you.

We were not there for a very long time, but the time we did spend inside was definitely engaging. The exhibits were designed in a way that made them feel more like experiences than just things you read about. Instead of just looking at displays, we were actively participating in different challenges throughout the museum.
One of the best parts of the trip was honestly the time spent with friends. The bus ride to and from the city was fun because everyone was talking, joking around, and sharing there opinions about the trip

All in all, the trip to Spyscape was a positive experience. Even though we were only there for a short time, it was interesting to see how the museum combined technology, psychology, and interactive challenges to teach visitors about intelligence work. It turned into a memorable day outside of the normal classroom environment.
